I LOVE all things art! I'm very inspired by nature, and also by creative writing. "Life is art." It's all around us, all the time. I've always looked at things with a creative lens and an artistic appreciation for what's right there in front of me. Some of my work has resulted from "happy accidents" - leftover paint, experimenting with different techniques, or stumbling upon something interesting, unique, or beautiful when I just so happened to have my camera with me, etc. When I was a kid, I use to draw things that I would see in things like knotted wood on doors, shadows, and water-spots leftover from spills that would look like some other "thing", etc. I still love experimenting in this way, and now, also with different mediums.
