Stevie Hekate is relatively new in her visual art endeavors for someone who has been an artist in other ways all her life. A vocalist and poet for years, she decided to explore painting with acrylics as well as drawing with charcoal and oil pastels. The results were surprising to this thirty something who hadn't attempted to paint since childhood art class. Now we can share in her journey through inner and outer worlds through the pieces she creates.
