Roberto Weigand was born in Brazil. He studied Architecture in São Paulo’s University and soon he started working as an Illustrator fornewspapers, magazines and children’s books. He worked as Illustrator and Infographist, became responsible for Istoé magazine covers and started to write for Publish magazine. As illustrator he won the following prizes in Brazil: Prémio Ofélia Fontes, Prémio Jabuti for Children Illustration. For image edition he won two Prêmios Esso for magazine Graphic Creation. He works essentially with the computer, by using different styles and techniques to illustrate given his experience with graphic design and photomanipulation.
