I'm Jan Seawell-Reckers, a former Holistic Nutrition Counselor turned Mixed Media Artist. The name "Peace Meal Art" reflects my belief that awareness in our choices of consumption, i.e. food, visual stimuli, thought, etc., directly impacts personal and global peace. I make art first because it is in my heart to do so; because I learn a little about myself with each endeavor. My hope is that a secondary result of my creative experience, is that someone else be inspired, awakened, encouraged or engaged in their own experience more deeply.
