Ken Niimura is a graphic novel author. His award-winning works include UMAMI (Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic), NEVER OPEN IT, and PENI PARKER: AFTER SCHOOL, as well as I KILL GIANTS (International Manga Award) and IMMORTAL SERGEANT, both with Joe Kelly. I KILL GIANTS was adapted into a film in 2018.

Ken has worked with clients such as Amazon, Google, McDonald’s, Marvel Comics, Apple, L’Oréal, DC Entertainment, Slate and The Apatow Company, among many others. He also teaches at schools that include the School of Visual Arts, The Animation Workshop and Escola Joso. He lives in Tokyo, Japan.
