The “Bledi Pop Art” painter Mouad Aboulhana was born on August 31st, 1989 in Tangier. He studied at the Technical High School—Moulay Youssef and dedicated his first couple of years of artistic creation to mixed media, experimental twists on academic painting, stencil art, graffiti, calligraphy, illustration, photography, and video installation. Since 2012, Mouad has been a professor teaching visual arts. Very active in the contemporary art world, he regularly leads workshops for budding young geniuses and even initiated the Tanja Street Art Festival which brings together street artists from various countries for live street performances. Mouad has experience in all of these disciplines and is eager to share his experience through art classes and workshops which he leads for young people through the organization. Aboulhana is a well-rounded artist with heart. His creations show moments of everyday, quotidian life with a simplicity, purity, and innocence in his vision. Inspired by illustrations and Goya’s ideologies, his audience frequently discovers in his work dark-toned ink through which he expresses blessing and thanksgiving. Along with his artist friends in all four corners of the globe, he imagines a world which extends beyond territorial and cultural barriers, uniting the globe in peace and beauty.
