ARTIST STATEMENT I started working with old books as a form of coping with digital distress. The world is cluttered with eBook’s, blogs, and audio books. There are a certain richness and depth to a book that’s undiscovered and left to the wrath of time on a dusty bookshelf as the relevance of the information it contains fades. The book’s intended function has ceased, and the form remains linear in an increasingly non-linear world.
