I'm Mayu Rojas - Graphic Designer & Visual Communicator. I am a Venezuelan living in Buenos Aires-

I am passionate about color, art, music and the Universe. I worked in the area of Culture & Museums as Director of Art for the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas, Head of Design and Image at IARTES, and later as Director of Museum Processes at the Museo de la Estampa y el Diseño Carlos Cruz-Diez in Venezuela. My experience is based on graphic conceptualization, branding, BTL and ATL advertising and editorial design among others. I studied Plastic Arts specialized in Design at UNEARTE and Development of Objects of Design in UADE - Buenos Aires. My works have been exhibited in the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas and in the Cultural Institute of Mexico in Miami, among other exhibitions. I won First prize at the Salon Huellas Indigenas at CANTV, Caracas 2003, Special Mention in the Latin Poster Contest of the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires 2009, Special Mention in the contest Carteles Desarmate, Caracas 2012. My personal project is called GEO NEO, consisting in digital works that combine geometric abstraction, color and typography, while studying the synthesis of forms and inheritance of the modern constructivist tradition, consolidated by artists such as Jesús Soto and Carlos Cruz-Diez. Currently I am engaged in webpage projects and as a specialist in UI / UX Design for E-commerce and social networks.
