Eastern Montana native, Jaylin (Morasko) Knutson now lives in Bozeman, Montana with her husband, three daughters and goldendoodle. She’s been creating art in many different styles and techniques for the last 22 years. Jaylin’s sensitive soul and that newfound freedom from perfectionism became the inspiration behind her abstract art. The slow, calming process of blending her medium, watching the fluidity of the alcohol ink, and creating texture with the addition of metallic ink is her preferred form of therapy.

The unique, ethereal color schemes in her pieces come from both nature and personal experiences that created intense feelings within her empathetic heart. The variations in colors, textures, and contrasts are the external expression of how she processes her deep, introverted feelings.
