Eulia Neal (Baranovsky b.1976), local artist. Prior to becoming an artist in Los Angeles was a professional ballroom dancer. During her dance career, she was a five-time U.S. finalist and a 2007 World American Smooth Show dance champion. Eulia has since retired from dancing, but not from her desire to express herself artistically and move people emotionally.

With a background in graphic design and fine art, painting was a natural next step. Eulia now uses her Dance Art series, created with oil media, as her means of self-expression. Her dance floor has been transformed into a canvas. On it, she shares the powerful experience two people create when immersed in the moment of dance. Eulia feels very fortunate to be an artist and wishes to share her vision by capturing people’s imagination and creating the beautiful feeling of connection.

“It’s very important to me to give people an emotional connection with my art. Through Dance Art, I want to create a space where people can experience themselves differently and escape their everyday routine. I hope my art inspires conversation about different forms of self-expression and transport people to a new, unexplored world. Ballroom dancing is a truly beautiful sport, and through it I hope to inspire others to spread love, joy, and beauty.”
