Ellis Bray is a science fiction and fantasy artist based in New Mexico. The wide open skies, combined with the eerie emptiness of the more rural parts of the state, is what drove them to start putting those feelings on the canvas. While their artwork leans heavily into the fantastical aspects of their home state, they also appreciate the natural beauty it holds. Lately, they've been melding the two concepts together, with unsettling--and therefore ideal--results.
