Dale Wilson - Born in Indian, was raised in Ansbach, Germany and resided in various German towns for 18 years. As a child, she remembers how intrigued she was by the simplest things; the snow, smell of bratwurst, the people...Dale attributes her influences to the diverse cultures, scenery and people she encountered during her travels and as a service member assigned as a still photographer.

As a photographer, Dale had a natural talent for capturing unique and interesting photographs. In 2013, in her quest to further pursue her love of art, she discovered the age-old art of silk painting. She was captivated by the vibrant colors and the overall delicacy of painting on silk by various artists.

As a self-taught artist, silk fabric has remained a favored medium. Dale's style of art is diverse; each piece capturing a part of her life experiences, merged with the imaginary. The theme of every silk painting is represented by her selection of silk fabrics, paints or dyes and techniques. The subject matter needs no interpretation; the viewer connection is derived from either a similar experience, captured emotions on viewing the silk art paintings or both.

Dale’s group exhibitions have included, The Lone Pow Wow, Harry The Hawk, Whaat?, No Ordinary Bird as well as previous year artworks. Dale is a member of the Atlanta Artist Center, Atlanta Art Station, Alpharetta Arts Guild and Guild of Silk Painters.
