Raised by Baltimore, residing in Los Angeles, Cris Cimatu is an accomplished designer/art director with varied clients in the tech, educational and entertainment industries. Originally from the East coast, he grew up in the Baltimore area but now lives and works in Los Angeles as a principle brand and UI/UX designer.

He is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art with degrees in Illustration, Art History, and Curatorial Studies. His tastes are varied but his work draws from sources of inspiration such as memories, tattoos, and street art. His main influences include the Dadaists, Push Pin Studios, Paper Rad, John Waters, and Bauhaus. Past clients have included the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Disney, and Honda.

When he is not busy creating he's busy surfing the oceans and traveling to far-flung locales, always on the lookout for new opportunities and inspirations.
