Arturo was born in 1939 in Astoria Queens. The oldest of three boys, his mother was Italian and his father was from Spain. With a love of music, racing, engineering, portraiture, history, and of course photography, he brought his camera nearly everywhere and captured moments that we get to enjoy even after his passing in 2012. All images belong to his daughter, Erika Rachel, an artist in her own right. Sharing her father's photography has become a passion of hers and way to keep her dad's travels, memories, and talent alive.
