I think the concept behind Society 6 is fantastic: supporting artists while giving consumers an incredible variety of unique designs that can be suited to almost any application one may encounter. The good: -Graphics are as advertised, and look great in person. Good print quality. -Comforter seems well designed and produced -Nice amount of fill -Order was shipped well wrapped with comforter and pillows in a plastic bag and then all in a sturdy box. -Very comfy material The mediocre: -Receiving the order was not what I'd call quick, but understanding that each item is produced in response to orders and that "inventory" is not kept explains why this may be -Upon receiving the items I had to pay extra tax and/or duty (shipped to Canada). I know that is often expected of international shipments, but because of the recent trend to apply an "all-in" shipping charge I guess I wasn't expecting this. I'll take responsibility for this, but I think a disclaimer that shipping is not inclusive of tax or duties is a good idea. I have not down-graded my review rating because of this. For the benefit of prospective international buyers, my order was for a comforter (that is awesome) and 3 throw pillows shipped to Canada. Order amount was $170 USD, shipping was $30 USD, and import fees ended up being about $30 CAD. The not so good: Couldn't find the washing instruction tag anywhere on the comforter? All in all, great product and will shop Society6 again.

The not so good: -Despite ordering "indoor" pillows, the fabric is a rigid and coarsely woven polyester reminiscent of Cordura. They will likely wear well, but at the cost of comfort. The fabric is hard and not silky, smooth and soft like the material my comforter is made of, which is what I'd expected. It feels like something more suited to outdoor furniture, but even in that case I can think of more comfortable fabrics that could be used. -The nature of the fabric makes them slippery on my leather couches. It may grip fine (when positioned) on fabric/suede/microsuede etc, but on any slipperier material like leather, bonded leather, vinyl, etc, the pillows just slide flat when you try to prop them against the armrests or backrest. -I thought maybe a couple of washes would soften the cases up a bit, but upon searching for a material composition tag with washing instructions, it was absent on all 3 pillow cases. Not sure if washing instructions are online somewhere. Kinda got frustrated and didn't bother following up by scouring the website. -I've rated the fabric poor. That is not to say it is not good quality fabric for some application, but for pillows and the comfort that should be associated with them against a person's face, it is a bad pick IMO.
